How do I get from the San Jose airport to the villa?

There are many ways to travel the two hours to Manuel Antonio, rent a car, take a bus or cab or the best way we recommend is to hire our private “villa van” which is the most economical way to travel since we have discounted rates for our guests.

What food is provided at the villa?

Food can be provided for all meals or for those specific meals desired by our guests. All meals are prepared by our trained staff for a nominal charge. We can serve buffet style or ala carte.

Can local adventure tours be scheduled for our group?

Villa and Yacht Vacations has made arrangements with all local tour and outdoor companies to provide discounted tickets for all their guests. Upon arrival at the villa a list of all tours and activities will be provided and the on site concierge will schedule them. Click on the “activities” tab to see all tours available.

Once at the villa, how do we get around the area?

Quepos and Manuel Antonio have plenty of taxi cabs available at very low cost. But, Villa and Yacht Vacations has the “villa van” and can coordinate local travel at no cost to their guests. Go to the yacht, beach or tours in the “villa van”

What sports gear is provided on the villa yacht?

All deep sea fishing equipment is provided for our guests. Costa Rica requires a fishing license which is the responsibility of the guests. Fins, masks and swim vests are provided if snorkeling is planned.

Can the villa be used for special occasions?

Yes, it is perfect for receptions, reunions and other group functions. Special arrangements can be made for all occasions.

Are there fitness and exercise opportunities available?

Yes, there are great running paths at the beach area as well as throughout Manuel Antonio National Park and a soccer field is within walking distance of the villa. Daily yoga classes are conducted at hotel Costa Verde. Also at the villa there is the 30’ pool for lap swimming and a fitness room with free weights and an exercise bike.
